My mugshot is very findable on google thanks to these great folks. A couple things happened in college that I'm less than proud of now they are trying making money off of it. makes their contact info very dubious. If you would like to voice your opinion contact Jeremy Brooks, who brags that he owns the "busted" trademarks, @internetdata twitter or ryan russell @wholinkstome twitter. Nine Star Ventures is behind all this 512-538-2215. I know that their actions reflect very unfavorably on my ability to find a job as a recent college graduate. I am determined to make this right. I may not be perfect but at least I don't profit from the misfortune of others. |

AGREED!
The karma built by these people/companies that prey on situtions like this is karma they can have! I cannot believe that the courts make it so easy for them to get this information and then protect them for charging a fee to have the information removed! What is wrong with that whole picture? Jeremy Brooks, I don't want to be you, or Ryan Russell; just remember all of the damage that you have caused, and created, for people when your world gets turned upside-down. It will come back to you. Eventually.
I have made my mistakes, been to jail, paid my fines, and changed my lifestyle. Yet you feel that it is your duty to be the roadblock in my life, and many others', to prevent me from moving on 100% from a regretful past. Heaven help you guys when you make poor judgements, or costly mistakes. Let your name and face and story be dragged through the mud in front of the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD! ALWAYS! Because that is what you do to others, for the almighty dollar...not even for moral purposes.
I wished that the companies that do legitimate bachground checks would get involved because, as long as bottom feeders like these guys are around, they will probably get a decline in business. Why will hiring companies want to pay for services when they can get the same information for free; just by Googling a name and location.
We need more people to take a stand against situations like this! Please get involved!
This is morally and ethically wrong. In so many ways. Here are some words to think about:
"Instead of pointing a finger, try holding out a hand." |
