Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) relieves renters of financial responsibility if the car is damaged or stolen while under rental contract.

During the rental a rock hit the front window. When I returned the car, they said ....don't worry about it, you have paid the LDW. Two months passed and I opened up my credit card statement and found a "deductible" charge of 300.00 from Budget. The window replacement cost Budget 363.06 Between the LDW fee and Deductible it cost me $481.65 No Help from Budget Customer service when I complained..... My advice rent elsewhere.... NO longer a Budget Customer.....let all your friends know the scam they are running!!
