Bruce Beddard specializes in deceiving and confusing customers; extorting deposits and switching terms once customers are financially committed. Dealing with Bruce Beddardis like dealing with used car salesmen. I was offered a rate that would save me a couple hundred dollars off my monthly payment
When I got better rate from another company, Bruce Beddard offered to match it. Bruce Beddard did not post the actual matched numbers until the appraisal was done. Bruce Beddard was unable to obtain the loan with the lower closing costs, so the switched terms to a more expensive loan (higher taxes) without even telling me. There was always a delay in posting documentation; Bruce Beddard would not respond to e-mail but insist of phone calls. In phone conversation, the would switch subjects, be pushy, vague and unclear.
All attempts to convince Bruce Beddard to refund my good faith deposit were unsuccessful.
I fired Bruce Beddard because the modified terms of the loan were no better than my existing loans, yet Bruce Beddard recorded the cancellation of the loan process as a denial with the reason of insufficient funds for closing. All requests to have these facts corrected were disregarded by Bruce Beddard and he refused to refund my $500 good faith deposit and I wasted about five hours of my time.
Anybody dealing with Bruce Beddard will have to be prepared to go to court. I will advise as many people as I can to not have any business with Bruce Beddard. |

Bruce Beddard demand we give him a $500 deposit, that was to be returned to us, if he could not give us a mortgage. more then 90 days later he still states he can not give us a mortgage BUT states we lost our deposit because he tried his best.

I just spent two days. I can't get back talking to a Bruce Beddard with beddardmortgageteam.com and all I got was **. One of the first things Bruce Beddard asked for was my SSN and a $500 depoist, which of course I was reluctant to give him but finally did for the credit check. Bruce Beddard assured me my credit looked good. I went through about 20 different phone calls with all kinds of info Bruce Beddard needed. Bruce Beddard did not seem to know what he was doing from the start. Finally, Bruce Beddard left a message that he was sorry but we were not approved because of my credit report and that my deposit was not refundable! He should have known that from the very start even before he stole my $500! Good thing I wasn't home to answer the call, but my husband did call him back to complain. Bruce Beddard is a complete a waste of time and a thief! |
