Bridal Boulevard Wei Wu Where's My Dress? It's been 51 days since I sent it Back for Alterations. REFUND PLEASE! Internet |

I ordered a dress form bridalblvd.com because they had such a large inventory. Looked at there reviews (silly me) not the unbiased ones on the internet, but theirs, all good of course, which I later found out you can't write one on their web site. I needed this dress for my son's wedding. I ordered a custom fit to my exact measurements. It came back promptly enough, but what a joke, it looked like a tent. It was anything but my measurements. 5 inches too big on top, waist not where it should be, shoulder straps follow off, and hanging on the ground 3 inches. This was there reply: Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation. Please send the dress back to: Wei Wu Room 905, No. 2158 Siping Road Shanghai,200433 China Please use first class postal service provided from the post office. It only costs about $14 to send and 1 week to deliver. We will complete the alteration as soon as the dress is received. Usually it takes only less than 5 days. We will send the dress back when it is completed. pls enclose the details that you want the dress to be and the invoice#2633124 in the parcel when you send the dress out. We will take care of all the rest costs. Thank you! What a shock! I did not know the dress was from China! I sent the measurements I wanted it to be the first time, Duh! But adjusted it the second, hoping it would come back smaller. I even sent pictures of what it looked like on me. And didn't cost $14 to mail it, but $22, and guess what, it can't be tracked or insured with first class mail. And 12 days to get it back? Well it's been 51 days now, and many communications later, and they told me they haven't received it yet. Come on, is it sitting in your warehouse or postal system? My son's wedding has come and gone. I had to wear a dress I had in the closet for 15 years, waiting and hoping it would get back in time. All I want is a refund, obviously not the dress as I can't use it anymore. They said they will send it to the refund department for a possible refund, when they get the dress back. I even sent a copy of the postal receipt where I mailed it. I'll probably be waiting the rest of my life for this refund. Beware. Don't order from this company or the dress for your special event may ever show up. Next step, reports to the BBB and the credit card company. |
