Blitz Inc. Cydcor, 10 Inc, Tom Peck, Thomas Peck : Yet another branch of the Cydcor corporate cult that is brainwashing decent, hard working people in |

This is a lecture to all the people wondering about Cydcor and their new operations in Bellevue, Wa. There are currently two offices that are ripping people off, claiming that they will be millionaires by running their own office of ‘professional’ sales people. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Cydcor just take a minute and search Google; here’s the fourth result that arises ). Simply put, they are the umbrella corporation that allows pyramid schemes, Oh, sorry, I mean “MLM†businesses to operate- Selling anything from Quill (as seen below), U-Verse, Qwest, and various other products… You get 10 people under you, become a manager and get your own office, then you make 24% off all of the people below you. Then the people below you can get into their own office eventually and you can make money off of that office! Now, tell me that isn’t a pyramid scheme! Before I really get into it, I was a 'leader' here for a couple months, I know what I'm talking about. The first is a company under the Cydcor name is called 10 inc (10bellevue.com). This company sells Qwest (now Century Link) door-to-door all around the greater Puget Sound. You may have had one at your home sometime in the last year giving you their pitch. Now, I have nothing against this company except for the fact that they are part of the problem and not the solution. However, they do all the advertising for Blitz Inc, ran by Thomas Peck, or Tom Peck if you get ‘buddy buddy’ with him. You’ll see advertisements all over Craigslist, indeed, Monster, etc. advertising for entry level sales positions, account executives, whatever. Either way you’ll be contacted by one of their receptionists whose sole job is to get as many people into the office for interviews. They have so many people leaving after a few days that they need more people to keep the doors rotating. So the receptionists actually get a quota for people coming in to interview, some stay late if they don’t hit that quota. Anyways, that’s 10 Inc. Now on to the job that I had experience with- Blitz inc. Ran by the sleaziest, untrustworthy, jacka** Thomas Peck (Found here: l or here: ). His first interview will be short and simple, asking interview questions he got out of a ‘management 101’ book I suppose. Once you’re hired, and believe me, if you show up, you’ll be hired, you’ll be assigned to a Leader. They are now your all mighty trainer and leader and you’re now on Chris’s or Ashley’s team. You’ll tag along with them, door-to-door, learning and reciting the pitch (or the 5’s AKA Five steps to a conversation). All the while making NO MONEY, ZERO, ZILTCH. It’s 100% commission, so you won’t make a dime until YOU yourself close a deal and make about 50 bucks; typically after the first week. Wanna work for free for a week? Now, 100% commission means that it’s all on you to sell. In the morning Tom Peck will give his little half hour speech he finds on some website, talks about goals, about making money, being a manager, being your own boss, etc. He’ll talk about ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS staying positive. “Don’t Neg Out!†is huge. This is supposed to get you pumped for the day to sell! Right? No, listening to this idiot speak makes you yawn, glance at the clock, and wish you were somewhere else. You should be out selling! Not playing a game (which is someone’s duty to organize every day), listening to Tom’s pecker yapping away about motivation or any of the other clichéd sales speeches, or wasting 3 hours a day in the office not making money. Thomas Peck doesn’t care about his employees; he simply cares about his money coming in to the office. If you’re not selling, he’s not getting his 24% cut. If you’re sick he’ll say “well, go out and sell and just keep it simpleâ€. Since the market is saturated with these sales people going door-to-door you will rarely make the ‘two sales a day average’ that Thomas Peck preaches. “You can make $1,000 a week†he’ll say, the average (and I’ve worked there long enough to see the proof) is $300 per week… Minus $100 in gas, food, anything that not reimbursed and you’re looking at $200 per week. $200 for 60 hours of work per week and you’re in poverty in no time. I've seen people struggle with $50 paychecks for a 60 hour work week for a month and yet the 'dream' is still being preached. If you suffer and work hard as hell now, you'll one day run your own office and be just like Thomas Peck! This man sees his employees suffering and does nothing. Provides no compensation and the only advice you get is "you'll get em next time. What kinda of job does this? Makes you work 60+ hours a week and if it's not working only pay out $1.00 per hour?? I've seen it happen. Thomas Peck and his little followers Chris and Ashley will bleed the new guys dry so the great manager can live to sell another day. These three combined have influenced many new hires to dedicate their bank accounts, time, gas, and livelihood into this SCAM. Thomas Peck is a con artist, suckering people in by promising the promotion and getting themselves an office. It’s a revolving door because of this, the average hire was there for a week or two before realizing this. Truth be told- Thomas Peck lives with his employee Chris D, in a crappy old apartment somewhere in Auburn. He drives an old Ford Focus, bums all his cigarettes, has late car payments, wears the same suit every day, and yet he claims that running an office will make you $60k+. He himself has failed running an office TWICE! Yes, he won’t directly admit it, but he has failed two other offices before this; Strategy Inc and some other unmentionable. Meaning, he can’t make Cydcor money and has to head back to the field to sell. He can't run an office, meaning he's not a good manager, and yet castrates people who 'quit the industry cause they aren't management material' He claims to be Christian but only goes to church to meet women. He claims to work for himself yet he takes money from his rich mommy’s factory. He inherited an office from Pedro Segura and if it weren't for Ryan Macintosh (who is actually good at what he does) Tom wouldn't be ruining peoples lives in Seattle. Thomas Peck is not management material; he is instead a sleazy con artist that will say anything to get you out in the field to spend all your time and gas into making him his 24%. BEWARE OF THOMAS PECK, BLITZ INC, and 10 INC. This guys a joke. For more research, check out: <--- very detailed information about Cydcor and day to day office life in one of these many offices. |
