Biotech hired me as a handyman from craigslist. They are located in Minnesota. I am in wisconsin.
I signed a contract that allowed them to have the realtor broker give final approval of work.
All supplies were approved by biotech and paid by them over the phone directly to the store such as menards while I was standing and listening. I painted and carpeted the entire interior of a ranch home with a finished basement. I sent photos of befores and afters all during the good and received good reports from Biotech.
I completed the job within the agreed dates. All work and all decisions during job were approved. The broker (so I was told) did not like the work. The broker wanted all carpet replaced. I waited about three weeks and drove by the house. All of my original work is in place, painting, carpet and tile. The house is listed on Yahoo realestate as 501 wuthering hills janesville at $92,000.
I have not been paid for completely cleaning and updating the interior. If you look at the yahoo realestate site the photos are the before pictures for the job. I bid $1450.00 as I wanted to get the job. I am very proud of my work. I completed it in March and as of June 8, 2011 have not been paid.
