First and Foremost, let me state I am NOT a disgruntled employee, nor and I someone whom is beholding or in any type of agreement with Mr Bill Kemp. I sat here reading all these posts about how he and his company ripp off thier employees, and the one thing that has not been mentioned is how they ripp off their customers.
I contacted Kemp Windows, to to replace my existing 100year old windows. I was then told that a salesperson would come to my home measure and give me a 45 minute presentation. My Salesperson "Mr. X", after a very lengthy and pressure filled presentation, (lasted 3 hours), convinced me to purchase thier top of the line windows, Energy efficient windows. the price I paid was extremely high compared to the other tow companies i had give me estimates, however, I felt that the product shown to me was of higher quality.
When the Installation day came and went, and I heard nothing, I called Kemp windows and was told they had a scheduling problem and would reschedule my installation. (day 1 of missed work). When installation day two came and went and yet again NO call, I beagn to wonder. I called them and this time they had a "Flu epeidemic" and had to reschedule, (day 2 of missed work). Finaly on the third try they showed up to install my windows. As they began unlaoding them i said nothing as I figured the windows they were taking off the truck were someone elses but just in thier way. Low and behold, they began carrying those windows up to my home to install them. No keep this picture in your mind, they have already removed some of the windows, and now are bring the wrong style and color of window to put them in. When I told them this is not what I ordered, the "lead installer" "Mr. Y", told me yes they are, these are our economy windows, in the exact clor you ordered, and I quote "oh, wait, your right these are the wrong color", Well mr customer, i was told well have tp instlall these windows and come back with the correct ones once they come in. These windows were and are JUNK.
Ive had them for about 6 months now and still NO refund, NO new (correct) windows, I cant get a call back from Mr Kemp. Ive hired an Attourney, and Mr Kemp has chosen to ignore him as well.
Mr Kemp is a very sleazy, slick, schyster, whom preys on the unsuspecting, elderly, and trusting citizens of this area. He is a blatent liar, thief and criminal of the lowest kind. He has NOT heard the last of this, and trust me when i say that he will refind my entire payment, and he will rue the day that he decided to ripp me off.
If your looking for new windows, siding, gutters, or any of the so called high end priodcuts that Mr Kemp and his minions provide, seek them elsewhere. Seek a company that actually wants you buiseness NOT just your money.
From MY personal experience, I will have to agree with "the disgruntled employees", that YES you are the ones telling the truth in this matter. I would be "Disgruntled" too if I worked and did not get paid.
On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being as low as you can go, I give Mr Kemp and his company a < -5 >.....
Know your rights, Know the law as a consumer, and Know that people like this sleaze ball do Exist.
