September 19th 2010 Bilgen Reed/ Safe Haven Foundation fraudulently procured thousands of dollars from me stating she build no kill shelters all over the country and these shelters along with others she works with offer double someones money back if they loan them money for their non-profit fundraisers. Two due dates have come and passed and Bilgen as disappeared without any payment to myself. She is now over thirty days past due of her original promise date as per our promissory note.

Don't count on it. Bilgen (Betty) Reed and Safe Haven Foundation have been defrauding shelters, kennels, vets, and private citizens for over 10 years. I currently have 8 dogs that have been at my kennel for a year. They have a policy of no-kill, but they have no reluctance in dumping dogs off with well-intentioned boarding kennels, leaving them with the difficult decisions. I have not euthanized any of the dogs, but will soon have no choice, as we do not have funds to feed and care for these dogs indefinitely. These dogs are currently available for adoption, but I will need to ascertain that the potential adopter has no affiliation with Safe Haven before proceeding.
These dogs were "Boarded" by Mara Drouboukos, who is apparently affiliated with Safe Haven. She did not disclose this information, as it was obvious they would have been turned away. I am currently seeking to file a complaint with the goal of having any non-profit status revoked. Apparently, criminal/civil charges against Reed and Drouboukos are appropriate as well.
BTW Jared, if you come to Aurora, CO, I will take you to her front door. |

Ed,
I appreciate your response as I am in the process of filing criminal charges against her. She obviously belongs in jail. Is there a way I can contact you directly? I would love to take a trip to colorado by the way. |

Ed, the owner of Pup Stop Inc.( Dog boarding kennel ) in Aurora Colorado was paid
thousands of dollars for custodial care of my dogs. Three of the dogs died under his care
and the other four within 30 days of leaving his kennel.
Litigation is in the process.
I was not able comment due to my health concerns.
