Big World Vacations
Big World Vacations and Grand Premier Vacations Misrepresented of the Product, poor business practices Nashville, , Tennessee
21st of Nov, 2010 by User415342
Big World Vacations misrepresents itself by providing the illusion that business will be conducted with Grand Premier Vacations. The aformentioned Grand Premier Vacations has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating. However, Big World Vacations has a rating of F, yet they are the actual service provider who takes your money and refuses to refund a product that you cannot use. Big World Vacations is nothing like they represent themselves in the sales pitch and they hide behind Grand Premier's A+ rating.

Grand Premier and Big World Vacations claim to provide cheaper prices even during "peak" times. I work in a school and need to only travel during peak times and all of the places that I wanted to go during the time period I am able to travel had equivalent or more expensive rates with Big World and Grand Premier than other websites. Since, I was not able to use the benefits of the product offered, I wanted a refund, but was called a liar by the President of the Company Peter Milana and told that he will not refund my money because I am experiencing "buyer's remorse," which couldn't be further from the truth! I wanted to be able to use the discounts, but they were not available for me during the times I could travel to the places I wanted to travel.

You are not able to see the product when you pay for the service because you do not receive access to Grand Premier's/Big World Vacation website that has all of the actual rates until about 4 days after paying. Even then, sometimes you need to wait until a travel agent returns your call about a price quote, so it can take even longer to really see the full product and your options are limited. However, Big World says they will only refund your money after 3 days, but you are not even able to see the product at that time! All we wanted was to refund our money because we are not able to reap the benefits of Grand Premier/Big World Vacations, but were told by Big World Vacations that would a refund was out of the question.

Also, we were told there are vacation condos and hotels that can be booked through Big World/Grand Premier all over the world, yet they failed to mention that 70% of these condos are only in North America. (Another misrepresentation.)

If you want to do anything with your membership you have to go through Big World Vacations. Phone calls about dissatisfaction with the product and service are not returned in a timely manner or at all. When confronting the President of the Company Peter Milana about the fact that they hide behind Grand Premier's A+ rating even though Big World Vacations has an F rating, we were told by him, (Peter Milana), "Go to hell." We were also called liars by him as well. I deem that poor customer service.

Attended the travel seminar in May 2011; never received our "free vacation package" just for attending the seminar. Grand Premier Vacations was sure NOT to give you any contact info for their company. With all the negative comments posted about how they handle their business, I'm not sure I want to pursue my "free vacation package".

We signed up and then investigated and decided the next day to cancel. We physically went back to the hotel where they were presenting and told them we wanted to cancel. That is when they gave us the "right to cancel" information that they "forgot" to give us the day before. We never heard from BWT - we never got the "free vacation package', we never got their books or brochures on the company. They were all "coming in the mail. It is now 6 weeks later, and all I got was the credit card bill they billed it on. I am disputing the charge as they never gave us a thing. Their phone lines are either always recorded or the mailbox is full.
HUGE SCAM.

Big Time Management is now operating under the name of Grand PremierLLc. from California. They are not to be confused with the company: Grand Premier Vacations in Williamsburg, VA. so their scam continues... good luck and be warned...

Tina Williams is the President of this company and has a record of felony convictions. Look her up in the state of Virginia. I also tried to use my Membership and found out that they have NO decent inventory. I have been told the owner Peter is a coke dealer and is wanted for tax evasion. Stay away from these people!!

Grand Premier is a scam. They hide behind a "stellar" BBB rating. They claim that they have been in business for 10 years when its actually been less than on. Shame on the BBB, because they know it too! For a fee, the BBB will swear to anything. They had to change their company name due to a littany of complaints on the net. Its modern day theivery and don't take my word for it. Look up Royal Elite Vacations; that was the old name. They'll change it again sometime soon when the consumers speak up.

The problem with them? The "Hot Deals" are a fabricated joke. They are never available and if they are, try adding an additional $500 to the listed price. That's if the even bother to respond to a call or e-mail. Its amazing to me that they are able to conduct business. Try looking up their owner as well. Keith Costko or something along those lines. I've heard he's an old timeshare guy that lost his real estate/timeshare license to sell and then decided to sell this stuff because licensing is not needed.

If your gut told you to look them up and you found this, then trust your gut and stay away! If you've just purchased, you legally have 3 days to cancel your membership. If its beyond 3 days, I hope that you paid with a credit card, because disputing it with your credit card company ios your only hope. Call your CC company and demand a reversal.

Good luck.

It seems like this is a very common problem in Mexico. My wife & i bought into a Royal Elite Timeshare in Playa del Carmen. We stayed in sandos caracol resort & signed contract for royal elite. we've found out in the last few months that availiablity of resorts that we require are very limited (sales person shown us extensive range of hotels). flight deals are no better than booking myself. we enquired to stay lanzarote sandos dec 2012 the ai rate is in total $1900 for the week. i feel that this is going to be costly in the long run, not the ideal deal that was sold to us. This is a forum with more complaints about this company:

I'm in the process of calling the BBB and PROFECO and seeing what they can do. Possibly the attorney General also!!
