Bicycle Post Gerri Smith (owner) Shady Owner Duped Me Greenville, North Carolina

I am a recreational,middle aged bicycle rider who takes good care of his property equipment.I have been an REI member for 25 years.In my area the closest REI is 80 miles from my home.I decided to buy a bike locally,develop a good relationship for service,chose Bicycle Post in Greenville.I purchased a Specialized mountain bike from them in mid 2010,did the required maintnence,bought gear,lube...etc,paid for a $100 perrformance tune up in early 2011. The gears started skipping in the fall of 2011.I took it to the shop on Arlington and the manager Steve told me the entire drive train was shot and he needed $180 to replace it.I took the bike to the REI in Durham ,NC for a second opinion.They told me the same thing. I contacted the owner of Bicycle Post,Gerri Smith.I got the usual "she's busy ","out to lunch ","in a meeting" response.I left word,my call was not returned.I called her three days later,we spoke,she had me take the bike to Hal and Ken at the downtown location for a further look. I purchased the bike from Ken and was prepared for him to help me out. Ken verbally assaulted me,asassinated my character,called me a liar,had his finger in my face.Gerri had set me up for a police interrogation with him. She hides in the back of the Arlington store,watches from hidden camera,will not address customer service issues face to face.She deploys her help to "go back and forth",put you "in the spin" with customer service. She does not care about customers,trains her employees who are mostly college kids at ECU to run a shady business.I have spoken to people who used to work for her who have confirmed this.These people have moved on to shops who operate with integrity,ethics. Stay away from this business.
