Bennett Designs Bennett Designs A Slanderous Highly Unprofessional Mess of a Graphic Design Company To Deal With Mount Pocono, Internet |

Stay away from this company at all costs as they are highly unprofessional. As a design company that boasts they offer: "affordable and reliable websites for all your personal and professional needs", they do not commit to their work the creative, ethical, moral and unbiased standards that any good business in the creative design industry should deem paramount to creating a reputation based on integrity. Calling the quality of the design work coming out of this studio atrocious would actually be an understatement. 1- ETHICAL PROBLEMS: -The creative force behind this company, a husband and wife team, who "claim" to have multiple years of experience in the art and design field, not only are a pair of terrible designers and artists, but they are a pair terrible people to work with in general who will leech off their clientele. -The parasitic duo at the control of this graphic design and art business will have no problem taking your money, and wasting your time with projects that take forever to complete, and when "completed" are essentially a shoddy mess of hand drawn scanned pictures with child-like graphics and user interfaces that look like they were designed using Yahoo! GeoCities free web site tools that have been obsolete for nearly a decade. 2- CREATIVE PROBLEMS: Examples associated with their terrible design routine are as follows. -The obvious lack of proofreading to a degree which is completely unacceptable. -Quotations not hung, or hung incorrectly. -Two spaces after punctuation in text and sentences. -Using boxes behind text. -Off centered layouts. -Odd and intrusive borders. -Indents that make no sense within text sections. -Embossing & Drop Shadowed Type that's messy and amateur. -Extremely bad grammar and spelling. -The mis-use of plural and possessive nouns. 3- MORAL PROBLEMS For nearly 2 years, this company has been attached to an ongoing feature film project where promises have been made and never kept in a series of merchandising packages that were to be given to donors who helped fund the film. Within the 2 years, the majority of the gracious donors (myself included) have received nothing in return for our donations to help the budget of the film grow. And those that actually have received the perk packages are the friends and neighbors of the owner operators of the studios. We were promised "perks" for our donations which included: Turning Green: $20 Certificate of Thanks, mention in credits under "Special Thanks", and film logo T-Shirt. Getting Stiff: $50 Certificate of Thanks, mention in credits under "Special Thanks", film logo T-Shirt and copy of the DVD upon release. ATTACK!: $100 Certificate of Thanks, mention in credits under "Special Thanks", film logo T-Shirt, copy of the DVD upon release, and a film logo hoodie. This company not producing donors who they do not personally know, their promised goods, within a span of what would also be 2 years, is terrible. 4- PROBLEMS WITH BIASED VIEWS/SLANDER/MIS-REPRESENTATION The personal views of the owner operators have actually led to slandering other professional entities ,via the internet, (in public forums) involved with the project to the point where they have been completely left out of the user interfaces on the website design for their film project. This is due to the fact that the owners of Bennet Designs and Art Monkey Studios "do not like them". It really is as childish as that. Even though the work put into the project that said entities the creative duo behind Bennet Designs and Art Monkey Studios "do not personally like" has been completed, on time and in perfect order. The design studio still refuses to give credit where credit is due, going also so far as to misrepresent on their page designs as to actually performed the tasks. Bennet Designs and Art Monkey Studios is essentially lying to list people on the team the owner operators personally "like" or "favor" more than someone else and list the people they personally favor completing a job on the project that person they "like" more was never affiliated with. This is by far the worst thing you can do to someone creative: which is taking credit, or giving credit to someone who has not done the work. So, if you're thinking about using Bennett Designs and or Art Monkey Studios...think twice, because they will take your money, give you nothing in return, make it a point to slander you, and lie to make their friends look good at the expense of other creative affiliates who have actually put in the time and effort. And they will do all this, expend the energy and resources, as they leave their jobs and clients languishing. I personally have tried to contact them about all of these issues. But they will dodge the questions, or simply not reply at all at their choosing. By leaps and bounds, Bennet Designs and Art Monkey Studios are the worst possible creative team to be involved with on your project. |
