Belford High School Lincoln High School Online, Jefferson High School Online, Woodford University, Nations High School Online, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THI
21st of Dec, 2011 by User700733
I have had multiple people enter our business presenting high school "diploma's" from Belford, Lincoln, Nations and others like them attempting to get a job. Unfortunately these are not real high school diplomas and they cannot be used to obtain a job, college education or other institutionalized study programs. They are not accredited with any agency or use false or fake agencies to show accreditation. Places such as these charge vunerable people alot of money and make promises that are false, and unsuspecting people pay for a fake diploma and then later realize it cannot be used and they have been conned. The BBB has had multiple complaints but since these places are not recognized by the BBB there is not much they can do but continue to try to keep places like this from ripping off people. Just to prove my point, I went to their website, took the test (randomly guessing answers) went through it without reading any of them then got an email saying I had "passed the exams" and then they invited me back to give my information to include my mailing address so my "diploma and graduation information" can be mailed and they sent me a discount offer of 15% on my "purchase" so for only 399.99 plus shipping I can have my diploma and for just 400.00 more I can get my Bachelors Degree in Business. I apparently had a GPA of 3.8. Amazing huh? I spent 4 years in a real high school to get my diploma my GPA was 3.4 I spent 4 years getting my degree from a state College it's nice to know that I could have just by-passed all of that and saved myself 35,000 in student loans and debts and wasted time studying and passing test after test, I feel foolish.....(insert sarcastic eye roll about....now) If you do not have a high school diploma and wish to obtain a diploma go through the Department of Education, speak to your city or state's Education Department. A GED is generally $50.00 it is recognized by the state, by professional jobs and by Colleges and other Higher Education Institutions. If you have paid for a "diploma' from any online institution you will have a very hard time obtaining a refund. So contact an attorney first, many attorney's will take on your case at no charge until your case is won. Also write a letter to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Education, your local educational departments and your attorney general. I wish all who have fallen for this misleading diploma mill scam good luck and I hope that this helps.
