Have you ever tried to return a Nook to Barnes and Noble? Do NOT even attempt. My father-in-law mailed his Nook 4 months ago and, after several phone calls and letters, still no response from B&N. He is now left with no Nook and no refund. Below the history of letters sent to B&N and several phone calls. SUBJECT: FOLLOW UP - NOOK RETURN AND REFUND Dear Madam/Sir, What is the status of the request below sent on March 14? Could you please contact me and let me know? Thank you. DATE: March 14, 2011. SUBJECT: NOOK RETURN AND REFUND Dear Madam/Sir, I would like to return the attached Nook. It was a Christmas gift from my brother in law to my father in law who currently lives in Brazil and is not interested in using the device in Brazil. The device has never been used. He has arrived in the USA a few days ago and asked me to contact you on his behalf since his English skills are limited. Could you please process the refund and mail us a check? If you need any additional information, please contact me. Thank you for your assistance.
