Barbizon Modeling and Acting school is a scam. they came to charleston and the woman from ny said that they saw 200 people and only picked 20, and everyone at my daughter's school received acceptance. if you have the 2495.00 they will pick you. Parents if they call you for an appointment, mention the 2495.00 , they will be gobsmacked. or you can pay the $700.00 and she told us that she would take off the last payment of $300.00, and she even said she would get my daughter jobs before she finished up. she referred me to Karen, but I was unable to get in touch with her for follow up. As a concerned parent, my advice to other parents. RESEARCH, READ THE FINE PRINT, BBB, and NEVER, EVER, Give MONEY ! Especially in less than a week. NOt to mention the hidden costs , even for the first day of class. What famous person comes out and says they were discovered through Barbizon? answer: NONE, the video is a bunch of hype, and what really upset me is the comment about drugs and alcohol, i got home that night called my best girlfriend and we compared notes. (which i would encourage any of you to do if you go to a place like this, others auditioning). and we are convinced that the whole thing is scripted, skippy peanut butter mom, john deere, pantene, its a horrifying feeling knowing how these people get our children's info.
