Called Auto Sound in cape coral for a quote to have my windows tinted and they seemed to be the cheapest i called, so i decided to make an appointment and go there. the price was $299.00 to have my car tinted in 3M window film, i agreed and got it done. while in the waiting area i noticed that the lids on the vending machines were destroyed and seemed as though they were chewed by something then i noticed rat fecies on the floor everywhere, the smell of a dead rotting carcus in the corner of a rat, i had to walk outside cause it was horrible to breathe.. while walking outside around back i noticed that the tinters was throwing out used up boxes of suntek film in the dumpster kinda seemed odd because there was no mention of suntek film by the salesman up in the front of the store. i had reached in the dumpster and took a sample of it and went up front and asked if there was 3M going on my car. the salesman named glen said it was 3M i decided to not mention anything about the suntek film. an hour later my car was done, i paid and left their store and decided to go cross town to another shop, Quality Window Tint in ft myers with sample in hand i showed them my car and asked if it was tinted in 3M and they said no it wasn't it matches the sample of film i took outa the dumpster, they also said Auto Sound isn't a 3M dealer and still sells the product even though they don't have it.. FRAUD wow i was amazed this happened. i called Auto Sound and talked with Scott Jones, to find out his real name is Keith Morgan the Owner, he said that 3M was installed on my car and the other shops are just tryin to give him a bad name, so with that i called 3M directly and found out they haven't purchased 3M film in over a year. hmmm i did the math there and my vehicle was tinted with suntek and i payed the 3M price i was ripped off and i hope this company Auto Sound of Cape Coral goes outa business for FRAUD bait and switch or whatever |

A few months ago we purchased a radio package with speakers from Auto Sound. It was a nightmare from the beginning which caused multiple problems to our car. 1st the whole package was purchased in the mall and then we were sent to have it installed in cape coral. The workers there had no customer service skills at all. But since we had paid a pretty penny for the system we decided to just get the things installed. The 1st radio that was installed was installed incorrectly. We waited for 5 hours to get it installed and when we picked up the car we were handed the keys and sent on our way. No explanation of the use of radio or anything. As we leave the store we put the radio on and it worked (but not great) as we were getting closer home we decide to put the AC on with the radio on and the AC starts making a terrible nosie and the music was distorted. We called and spoke to Keith and he said come back we will take care of it.
We go back and they state its the wiring and that we had cheap wiring and if we purchased a different set then it would sound better. So, we pay the extra for wiring and they take the car in to look at it. We wait and again a few hours later when we get the car back we notice that the radio is different, they made a hole in the secret compartment to put a wire that was unnecessary. We go in and speak to Keith again and he says ooh the radio wasn't working so we put this one in. We tell him that this is not what we paid for. Well, he responds if you want a high quality radio this one is better but cost more. So, again we got suckered in and paid more for the radio and for different wiring. Mind you the wires we paid for were taken out and they kept the wires.
The following week we go and the radio is installed with speakers, again. This time we take the car and we notice a day later when we use the CD player that the all the CDs smelled burnt. The sound was still distorted. We took it back by then I lost all patience and complained and basically was disregarded. They took the car and "supposedly" they did rewiring again. A few weeks later my AC goes out, my brake lights go out, my electrically doors wont open or close. I take it to the shop and I am told that the radio was connected straight to the multiplex of the car.
When I go to Auto Sound to complain and give him receipt of work done and what caused the damage that verified what I was telling him. Keith basically said that they did not do the damage and to research the web because this is a common problem with my type of car. Then he said that he called the shop and was told that they never said it was the radio that damaged the car. Although our receipt stated that it was the radio. Basically we got nowhere and they refused to do anything. I WILL NEVER recommend anyone to that shop again. I don't know how they have been in business this long.
I have looked at other reviews and this Keith person rebuttals by saying that other businesses are slandering them and that it is not true. However, I can tell you I was a legitimate customer with no ties to any other store. Even their own workers bad mouth them about their poor customer service and as we stood complaining there was a call by another customer complaining about there shody work. I regret ever going there because not only did we spend a ridiculous amount of money on the package but we had to pay for the repair to our car. We lost double and these people continue to service people and make money from "suckers" like us. Shame on you Auto Sound. |

The first story is obviously completely fabricated, either by a competitor or a disgruntled employee, it is a shame that this kind of site does nothing to validate any of this. For the second story I have had cars worked on at Auto Sound for the last 12 yrs. I have never had anything wrong or anything broke on any of my cars, this company obviously does good work as they are the only store like theirs that has been around as long as they have. I think they are a great company and I recommend them to anyone I know. |

I have been to this business and I have nothing but nice things to comment about them, |

I have had my car damaged by their work in the past and can confirm that they will not only deny it, but Keith Morgan is known to flip out on his customers to the point of cursing and screaming at them, if you point out any of the flaws in their work. Peyton Williams rebuttal is similar to another rebuttal of yet ANOTHER scam that Keith Morgan's AutoSound perpetrated, except peyton, or should I say Keith Morgan, used yet another alias -- obvious fake rebuttal. They are known throughout all of Lee County as scam artists and if you get bad service, you deserve it, because it's hard to live in Cape Coral and not know that AutoSound is the most unethical business around. |
