The PA address is the online support area but the bidder support is located in boston mass., as of this writing at the 617-746-9800. I had an excellent chat with bidder support about the number of "forgeries" & non-authentic pieces of memorabillia that was being sold thru a multitude of auctionzip vendors. I was surprised that they were not aware of some of the more infamous ones including a complete list of COAs banned from being resold on ebay. They seemed genuinely concerned. AuctionZip is not unlike auctioneerslive or a number of offers from IOFFER to Always At Auction sites that have no idea (we hope) that what is being sold more often than not are "forgeries". They have a COA so they must be genuine. How often have you heard this; It is the Bidder’s responsibility to Research, Inspect, Determine Authenticity, Genuineness, Age, Condition & Value or any other determinative factor. Our Company may attempt to describe the merchandise in our Catalog, Advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes NO Representations, Guarantees or Warranties on any item Sold" ? Too often I suspect while being true perse, it also provides these "auction houses" with excellent cover at the same time to not ensure what they are selling is genuine. Why don't they do this? Excellent question. Because, they don't have the requisite skill set just like many buyers on determining if something is authentic or not - as it's all about the signature (not the COA). However, there are patterns to some COAs and some authenticators whose calls are horrible. Thus to simplify this as it could be futile to make everyone a keen authenticator here is a list of COAs that have been banned from EBAY along with some additional ones that you should consider staying far far away from. Many of the ones below you will find an abundance of at many of the auctioneers websites so you can do yourself a favor and save yourself some money and avoid having it removed from EBAY when you try to flip it for a profit or invent some silly explanation that it came from granpa's attic. Being generally concerned is one thing but being aware is another. Not all of these have hit this auction site but a number of ones in the first two sections certainly have. Not all of these have hit this auction site but a number of ones in the first two sections certainly have. Any Scoreboard COA that has a sticker on it. They never used stickers nor did Mickey Mantle ever sign a bat for them. There are thousands of forgeries regarding SB COAs floating around these days. Believe it or not there have been SB blanks.
