Attracta Attracta SEO Service will not respond to communication, makes unauthorized changes to your website and refuses refunds even within the first
12th of Mar, 2013 by User959208
Within 10 working days of signing for this company’s SEO service my website began receiving what I consider automated spam traffic. A specific number of hits between spacific hrs only, one page deep for less that one second then bounce, what I call spam. I immediately called and emailed the company asking them to stop the service and contact me. It took almost too weeks, and I called who I thought was my account manager several times only to leave messages on voicemail, for me to receive an email telling me that this was targeted traffic and not to worry. During this time I also had discovered that they had gone into my website control panel and replaced my existing robot.txt file re-directing the search robots to their Attracta sitemap for my site. I was never informed of this nor did I authorize it. I update my sitemap regularly and there is no need to re-route the search bots. I then made several more calls trying to get them to stop with the spam traffic and get some kind of explanation to why these things were being done and stop with the automated spam traffic. Finally Monday 3/11/2013 I finally talked to the person that is supposed to be my account rep. I told her that I never approved any of the things that they were doing, and that I wanted the service stopped and my money refunded. After she had a talked to her supervisor she then came back and told me that I would receive a call by Friday and they would let me know what they were going to do. I told her once more to stop what they called traffic service to my website. Tuesday morning they are still spamming my website. I sent them another email. Stop your service refund my money. No response. I came in today; they are still spamming my website and have begun sending me content to add to my site. Once again, out goes the email. Stop what you are doing, cancel the service, and refund my money. I do not approve or want this service. This is not what I understood that this service would be doing. Get a call about 2 hrs later. The rep once again tries to tell me that this is what I need. Once again, please stop what you are doing and issue my refund. I have been trying to stop this for almost 3 weeks now. Once again off to the supervisor, this time his response is that the billing department told him that they were right on track, and because they were right on track for what they should be doing, they couldn’t refund my money. I have had this service for a little over 4 weeks now; the initial billing was 2/11/2013; and three of those have been spent trying to get them to stop what they are doing. This is not what I understood the service to do and it only took me less that 10 days to see it and start asking for them to cancel. But it looks like once they have your money thats all they care about.
