AT&T WORST SERVICE IN CHICAGO!! EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BEWARE OF THEM!!!!!! Internet, Internet

This is a must read for all AT&T customers as well as those seeking there services: My wife and I have lived in 3 different apartments in Chicago and have never been able to get decent cell service. At best, we will get shotty service for a minute or two before the call is dropped. It got soo bad one time that I lost out on a $2,500 business deal that had to be done by the end of the day but we couldn't get service, very frustrating. We then decided to get a land line, which is an extra $40/month. This is in addition to the two wireless lines at $200 each! This is where it gets really bad. When we are home, we don't get any service at all, which means that we can't receive calls or even make outgoing calls. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant and on bedrest. She was having serious contractions and felt something may be wrong with the baby. SHE COULDN'T CALL ME, HER DOCTOR OR 911!! When I got home she was in a state of panic to where I had to take her to the hospital, which is where she remains now. I called At&t to explain the situation and appeal to there better judgement to let us out of our contract due to the extenuating circumstances. Not only did the rep treat me like crap, but so did her supervisor. They actually had the audacity to not only refuse to cancel, but try and sell me a $200 product!! My options were to buy the product, buy my contract out for $300 or, even better, "go around your neighborhood and try to sell your service and then we can transfer the contract to them." Un-f'ing-believable!! After doing the math, we have been at&t customers for 3 years and have paid the company conservatively $15,560 and this is how they treat us! They are bar none the WORST service in the industry and the service is terrible in Chicago. My friends have Vxxxx and Sxxxxx and don't have a single issue with either, so if you're looking for wireless or your contract is up with at&t get Sxxxx or vxxxxx!I hope this helps.
