AT&T is out of control!!! They are overcharging me and trying to get this resolved with them was a nightmare and it only got worse. I have been given such a run around from department to department and even an executive. If I could only charge them for my time and trouble!!!!! I had a combined bill that I paid every month with one payment online. It included my cell, home phone and internet service. I called Feb. 28th to cancel my home phone (land line) and internet service because I went with a new wireless service. AT&T could not service me where I live with wireless. They said they would send me a closing bill. So I thought that the closing bill would be for the home phone and internet. So I went online to pay my cell because I was not closing that. I then got a second bill with the same amount. I called for an explanation. The combined billing department told me that I should not have paid my cell online and paid it to that final closing combined bill. So confusing....I did not know that. I did not realize my cell was on that combined closing bill. I was not closing my cell so why would my cell be on that closing bill with the home phone and internet??? So when I called AT&T I was told to call the wireless department. The wireless department told me to call the Combined billing department. I was shuffled back and forth. Is this not one company???? I got put on hold over and over. No one could help me. The wireless department simply needed to adjust the combined bill department since I should not have paid it online. I don't know. I do not know how they internally work!!! Just adjust my bill!!!! I faxed them my bank statements with my payments and got no response. I even sent a letter to the Board of Directors. I was contacted by an executive who left me a message and made no sense, left me no contact number, nor further assistance and referred me back to customer service. I called the executive branch with the number I found online and a stupid message comes on and you cannot get through or leave a message. I have now been sent to a bill collector who I have faxed a letter of dispute, and all documentation and statements. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Now with you. I have excellent credit and have always paid my bills. I have been their customer since 2001 and they treat me like this? I will soon be closing my cell with them. There is something crooked with this company!!! I hope they get a huge fine for their abuse!!!! |
