Ashley Furniture Deceptive, Do Not honor their store warranty, Lies and customer service is the worst New Braunfels, Texas |

My story is so long that I am going to do my best to shorted it up. Ashley furniture does not back up either the insurance or the manufactures warranty. They are deceptive; customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I purchase a living room set that one of the pieces broke down. I then contacted Ashley to come out and look at the set. After they returned to their office I received a call telling me a new piece would be shipped and I will receive it in a matter of weeks (they said and I quote, the piece cannot be repaired) I waited just at 2 months and decided to call to find out the status. Well this is where it gets good. I was told the set was discontinued and I would have to take a floor model. I disagreed with this and then was told I could look at another piece that would not match my set. I did not purchase a floor model so I do not want a use piece of furniture) we went round and round until I asked for his supervisors name. Supervisor offered the same thing until I became so frustrated that I was like a pit bull and would not let go. The supervisor told me he would have the piece picked up and repaired. I told him I did not want to wait another 4 to 6 weeks. He told me he would call me back to set a pickup date and this would be repaired within 6 to 10 days. Here we are 7 days later 2 phone calls to the main office and no returned calls. I also left a message for his supervisor to call me and still no return call. I let the supervisor that will not follow through on his word that I would be contacting the BBB, putting a review online daily, and file a claim under the Texas Deception Act, he did not care This company is well trained on saying we will not honor our word and have no training on when it is time to make things right for the consumer. See you tomorrow when I post another review. PS: why doesnt Ashley have a review section on their website? I would say because then the higher ups would see they are driving this business in the grown, no one wants to deal with deceptive company |
