Ash International Records Touch Records Tried to steal my identity Tampa, Florida

I am reporting a scam artist named "Michael Johnson". While he was not able to swindle me of anything I am concerned for artist/bands he may try to prey upon. He may be on to trying to steal peoples identities. After a couple of exchanges through any online medium he emails a"contract" he sends to artist he wants to sign to Ash International Records (which is a real entity but doesn't sign acts). Towards the end of the agreement which is poorly written; he states he needs the
artists/bands to submit to a background check in which it's insinuated he would need a social security number to process it. He claims to have a U.K number but called me from a Florida number: (239) 234-4377 (which is a fake number from a generated phone app) The following messages we're received from Michael after a few exchanges with the culprit: ---------------

We are Ash International Records; we are registered label and have been operating with great success in the music industry in bringing up many young and talented upcoming artists. For now we really need some new artists in all kind of genre. For some new deal, we check through your profile and your songs, we really have interest in them. So we will like to invite you to our audition which will be coming up in UK on the 10th April, 2013
