I am the mother of 2 small children and I work a full time job and needed a car to get to my child care provider and work everyday. I went to several local used car dealers and none of them could help me. While talking to one of the dealers he, for what ever reason referred Anita's to me. How I wish he would never have done that. At the time I was really desparate and needed to be able to get to work. I work in Mcleansville so there was no public transportation that I could use to get to back and forth to work. So when I went to the lot I looked at what they had and I picked a 1998 Mazda 626 that was April 29,2011. They Let me test drive it and I took it around a few times and they gave me some money to put gas in it I did that and brought it back. I should have let a mechanic look at it but I didnt because I thought this would be a short term purchase and I would trade up when i got my tax money. I figured it would have problems it is a used car and a Mazda but I expected to at least be able to drive it several months.On May 23 2011 she finally agreed to take the car and work on it and tell me why it kept overheating fix it and make some other repairs. When I picked it up it had gotten worse than when I left it with her. I came back in there and I cried and begged them to call her and she refused to speak to me. I asked them to please tell me what was wrong with the car first they told me it was my car take it somewhere to get it looked at they could not help me. I asked for a car fax report and they told me I got one which I didnt. Then finally they looked at it told me to buy a radiator cap put some water in it told be some BS and sent me on and as I pulled out the driveway of her dealership the car shut off from that day I knew that I was totally screwed. I had the car less than 30 days and the head gasket was blown and they knew it. There was no thermostat in the car when I bought it because they knew that it would overheat. Its a family owned business so they are all in on it. They will lie to you get rude with you and avoid you. The worst part is now I have no money and no car. I have missed time off work and I am totally stressed out. I really need my money back but I hope that if nothing else this will save someone from making the same mistake I did which is buying anything from Anita'a Auto Sales. I actually heard them say "those tires went down again" talking about one the cars they have for sale that has bad tires on it.
