Americas Servicing Company ASC ignoring request for mortgage loan modification by our attorney Des Moines, Iowa

It has been 21 months since we began a mortgage loan modification using an attorney who specializes in loan mods. America's Servicing Company just keep asking for documents over and over in the customer services area. The negotiator and her supervisor have refused to contact our attorney after calling daily. ASC won't activate our case without the negotiator. ASC has been uncooperative and unresponsive. Our mortgage was sold to ASC about 2 months after we did a refinance! We had no say so in the matter. We paid on time for years until we knew we were going to retire and have our income cut almost in half. We contacted ASC at that time about doing a refinance and they denied us. We then went through NACA the entire process and again ASC denied us. This was all done in anticipation of retirement about 2-3 years before. We stopped paying our housenote the month after retirement because we could not come up with the entire payment and still be able to live. All of that was stated in our letter of hardship along with all the documents requested by ASC as we began the process of loan mod with our attorney. Again it has been 21 months and the negotiator refuses to speak to the attorney's office and her supervisor refuses to take calls from our attorney's office. Something should be able to be done about this company!! If there is anything anyone knows please let us know!
