| American freight is nothing but a bunch of scam artists and liters!!! I purchased a living room set (couch and love seat) for my mother for a Christmas present on 12-10-11 or put it on layaway and paid it off on Friday December 16th, 2011. After I paid for my furniture they tell me that what I just paid for is discontinued and try having me spend more money for something different without trying to fix THEIR mistake. December 17th I went to speak with the manager (Felix) after waiting for his call.all day and never heard from him. He did not offer me anything for the same price as what I just paid, for the furniture that I just purchased and is now mysteriously unavailable, all he tried doing was selling me something for a few hundred dollars more. Also, apparently from what I was told the first time being there that floor models are not available apparently they are now but he still would not lower prices. I've heard nothing different stories and lies since I've been trying to get this mess figured out it is now Christmas eve and my mother does not have her present. Felix the so called manager at American freight is uncooperative and unreachable. He said he would see what he could do for me and for me to meet him on the 21st at 530 but he was not there and is now unreachable by his employees. I just want this mess to be fixed and for me to get what I paid for, or something else at the same price since they are the ones that screwed everything up. I want the public to know that they are just a bunch of scam arrests and all they will do is take your money and either not have what you have already paid for and not be able to get it or they will give you damaged merchandise. They fucked me over and won't even give me a refund for over 4 god damn weeks, so now I can't get my mother anything for Christmas because this stupid company seemed to just pocket my money and say fuck you to me! And one employee even threatened my father after he went there upset!! American freight is a scam and I want my furniture or my damn money back!!!!!! Never go to American freight or it will happen to you too!!!!! |

| i looked online and reaseacrhed what furniture i was interested in and based on what i was willing to spend, from american freight for weeks. well today i go into the store and ask about the speacial i see on every time i geta newspaper from them for 7 pieces for 398.00, ok it was rather a small couch and only had red and brown to choose from. so i mentioned to the sales rep about the next package i saw ( inmy price range that i was researching for weeks) and told him i want a recliner with my couch. he gave me a price of 900 online and said they dont always have in the store what they have online. ok but now that im back home they do for 498.00 is the advetised price an it doesnt say online only! so iasked what i can i get with the tables and i dont want the lamps . he suposidly gave me the next set of tables that was of higher value sincei didnt want the lamps which for he 3 piece set alone was less that 100.00 for the expresso. now that im looking online. all that together i paid 1100. for what u have advertised should be 596.00 not 1100.00. i feel totally ripped off . then they dont have the recliner in stock i asked if i can have the display he refused. then i asked if he would take off a price since i have to come back for it and i live far. they shouted some number i asked 3x whats the diffrence of the price then from what i was gonna pay. they avoided my question and i just wanted to get my furniture and move on. then i asked to be shipped today. ok he says everything except the recliner i will have to pick up when they call me (now i erad a lot of these scams and im gettin worried i wont get my recliner) so i come home im waiting and waiting. then the delivery guy calls me and tells me they dont have in stock the expresso tables and he assumed i didnt want the display. ok thats funny when i asked for a the display recliner then why wouldnt i want the tables???!! now on my reciept it says paid in full for 1100.00 but that today im getting delivered couch and love seat and 3 tabls then another page says paid in full but that im to pick up recliner when in stock. i m not sure whats mroe misleading paying an additional 500? and not getting shippped today what i alerady paid in full and was promised. i am very disassitfed. an i want the price that was advertised. apparently the sales rep doesnt know the advetisements. when i go back to pick up tables and recliner which btw better come in (cause i read complaints that some people nevr got what they paid for) or im gonna go to the news and bbb because 500 diffence is a lot of money. for 1100 i spent i could have gotten way nicer furniture from whats listed onthe webste! i feel scammed and i just bought a house and had my floors finished today also and i need to furnish the rest of 3 bedrooms an dining room and i will not go back if i dont get my refund! i was also promised by sales rep that it would be shipped by 530-630 and the delivery guy that called 530pm said no later than 2 hrs its 740 right now! |
