This company is a SCAM with very good scam artists. I have been trying to get my money back for four (4) months since January, 2011!!! They have a no obligation, no fee, no problem if you cancel and you will get all your money back guarantee!!!! They have NOT worked for my money either!!! They do act like they are on your side though. They mention how their 3rd party accounting has messed up. Marlon Gardinera will assure you that he will take care of it. He will NEVER call back. His employee, Sonia Briones, acts like she cares. They are all so sympathetic! However, when push comes to shove and they finally say "the check is in the mail" GUESS WHAT? The tracking number they give you will not be valid. It will say "No record of that number" and they will act as surprised as you!! You will NEVER get a call back. You will NEVER get your money back. You will feel like an ass. It is all a SCAM. This company, American Credit Group, is a SCAM. Marlon Gardinera and Sonia Briones are SCAM ARTISTS. I may never see that money again (and as financially weak as I am, when I could use it the most!) But this should hopefully serve as a warning to you. On top of all that, you still have to deal with your own credit mess. But now, your credit score is trash -- You and your spouse's (like in my case). They are in it for the money, of course!!!! I am not EVER going to stop warning people about this company and these people. What a sham(e). Faith in Souderton, PA |

This company has an amazing sale pitch - they are a company willing and able to help you during your most difficult financial times. Mine was that an immediate family member was gravely ill, and passed away, with no insurance. This was not only an emotional hit, but a complete financial drain. I reached out to the ARG on December of 2010. They started taking oney out of my account immediately - which is against to the October 2010 law. They are supposed to only gain monies once settlement is reached. This should have been a huge red flag. The major warning sign was that credit companies were calling, and becoming more and more threatening. Turns out, the settlements and proposals were never done - and the number I was instructed to give creditors was FAKE. We were supposed to begin reaching settlements by March - by June NOTHING. And, Discover decided to sue, a warrent in debt was issued. I called for weeks begging for assistance, not only did no one answer - but no even called back. By the week of the court date, I was frantic. I called in a panic. The receptionist tracked down my specialist, Stacey Daggart. She promised a call back by COB from the Negotiations Team. Nothing - not a thing. Court date came and went - forced into bankruptcy. Unreal stress - financial ruin. I cancelled by contract on May 31, 2011, officially. I had it. The writing was on the wall - all over the wall. This was a scam - these people were theives and liars. The contract states that all monies must be returned within 15 days to the customer. It is July 19, 2011 - nothing. I have called, emailed, contacted the BBB, and now filed various reports. The owner, Marlon Gardinera, promises resolution, but day by day, does not follow through. It is completely disheartening to know that there are people out there who take advantage of people in need. This company is full of those people - run, don't walk away! |
