I was contracted to work a program for TGI Fridays through Ambient Planet distributing gift cards to drive business to the local restaurants. Our team received excellent reviews from Colleen McGovern and was even told that our team was the best market because we all showed up on time and delivered excellent results.
I was asked by Colleen to work two locations on 8/18, 8/19, 8/25, 8/26 (9:30a-1:30p; 3:30p-7:30p). Per Ambient Planet's contract, we were supposed to be paid 30 days after completion of the program. Therefore payment should have been received by 9/27.
As of December 2, no payment has been received, no phone calls have been returned, no emails have been acknowledge. This is unacceptable and bad practice. My next step will be reaching out to Carlson Restaurants, TGI Fridays, and Peppercom Media. (I'm sure they will not like their name being involved in this report. However, they should know if Ambient Planet is breaching their contract by not paying their contracted staff!)
PROMOTIONAL SPECIALIST BEWARE OF AMBIENT PLANET!! I HAVE BEEN IN THIS INDUSTRY FOR OVER 8 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER, EVER NOT BEEN PAID!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
