Thurs. Sept.22, 2011 Dear Sir, I answered a T.V. Ad for Aluma Wallets. When I placed my order over the telephone, I told the representative that I was ordering ONE wallet. I made that very clear to her.
She proceeded to tell me that I was entitled to one free wallet and free shipping.
It sounded like a good deal to me so I gave her my Visa Card number. Some time later, I received FOUR wallets and a bill for $69.98
I was outraged and I called Van Nuys Ca. I spoke with a gentleman who gave me the name of Jeremy. I explained everything to him and I told him that I will return all four wallets for a full refund plus the $13.00 that I had to pay for the return postage. He seemed to be in agreement with my proposal.
When I could not find a credit on my Visa Card statement, I researched my status on the internet and I was shocked to discover that you had credited my â€œACCOUNTâ€ in the amount of $50.00 I do not need nor want an account with your company as I do not intend to purchase anything from you in the future. An â€œACCOUNTâ€ with you is utterly useless to me.
How can you open an â€œaccountâ€ for me in my name without my consent?????? We Canadians do not take too kindly to being swindled. I am an 80 year old pensioner and I have been in contact with our local authorities, including an organization called â€œAnti Fraudâ€. They deal in Scams and they told me that I am a victim. and they recommended some steps that I can take to resolve this issue I would like to remind you that your company advertizes a 100% satisfaction guarantee
I strongly advise you to cancel my so-called â€œACCOUNTâ€ and return my FULL refund Sincerely,
