I was working for Allied Inspections INC beginning in Sept of 2010. The company seemed legitimate as I checked with the BBB and on scam Report. Although they were not a member of the BBB they did not have any negative reports listed nor did they have any on the scam report. I was trained by Deborah Calvert and the accountant in pay role was Judy Pollock. I worked with both ladies and spoke to them numerous times. I was paid after my first month of property inspections and asked to complete several more. I was feeling good about the company as I received my first check and cashed it and agreed to do more work for them. I began doing many inspections for them on the "honor" system and continued completing them through October. After non payment for work after a month I began to inquiry about being paid. Deborah sent off an email to all the inspectors saying that their car broke down and their would be a delay in getting checks out. I thought fine a delay is ok. So another few weeks goes by and then I contact Judy. Judy says the checks have not bee received from the client and we must wait until that happens. Judy says that the office people have not even received their checks but assures me that when the money is received the inspectors will receive their money as well. Another week goes by. I send e-mails and they get returned to me. I call the company and the phones are disconnected. The website is non functional and the company is basically gone!!! Nowhere to be found!!! They owe me in excess of $500 for the inspections completed and mileage accrued for completion of the inspections!! I cannot believe this has happened to me and am curious as to what can be done and how many other inspectors have been affected!!! This is a very unfortunate situation!!
