Of course I won; I called a reputable radio station in New York! This must be legitimate, right? NO!
Read on After calling the telephone number given on the station (800)410-5544 on LA MEGA in New York,
woman answered the telephone asked me the contest question, and then stated
that I responded correctly. She said that I won, confirmed my telephone number, and I would be called again in 7 minutes. Carlos customer service called me from (407)956-8528 to explain the
prize. He then transferred my call to Nelson, a supervisor, who confirmed my personal information for billing (taxes only).
Statements:
You have won a trip for four! You are responsible for the taxes $299.00 for 3 destinations or $199.00 for two destinations. I was told that a car would pick me up from my home drive me to the airport and that once I reached my destination a car would pick me up from the airport and drive me to my hotel. I would receive breakfast and discounts for lunch. A car would also pick me up at the hotel and drive me back to the airport. This trip also included 3 other persons. Nelson and Carlos both stated that the air fair would be discounted by 50 to 60 percent of American Airlines or Jet Blues standard prices for the season. I would receive all of the information in the mail and via email.
Questions they asked:
1. does your husband live with you?
2. what is your home address and telephone number?
3. what is your email address because we are going to email you a confirmation and information
about the trip you won I agreed to the terms for two destinations and paid the $199.00. I never received the email
confirmation and I am still waiting for the mail to arrive. Reservation telephone number is (800)587-7016 Customer service is always busy Taxes billed $199 for two destinations
1. Orlando4 days and three nights
2. Las Vegas 3 days and 2 nights at the Luxor My credit card was billed instantly. I cannot get anyone on the telephone. How can a reputable radio station permit the fleecing of their loyal listeners? How can this company get away with billing for service never rendered and claiming this is a tax payment? Sounds like a

| the samething happend to me I have been trying to contact the rep that i spoke to and she is never avaiable. I still cant make my reservation but they were quick to take my money. Its a shame that la mega lets these company do these type of scams to its listners. In new york. |

| OMG the same thing happend to me, dont bother calling the radio station...they wont help you out at all!Plus they are not even simpathetic to the situatuion. Just call your credit card company and tell them you got scam. Good luck! |

| they tried to sell me vegas at plaza hotel 149.00 for deposit on hotel. I stated free is free where my prize still waiting?? I call an spoke to lady who already new who I was tryin to to get me confirmed so she could send prize I saidno way.
