Report: All Coast Movers Scam Artists, scams, Ironic they are here on this forum. This company is a scam. I originally hired World Movers and was told they hire their own employees. I moved before they packed, I had my son there while they were packing. Things were heard being broken, they came to my house with a pit bull, and my dog had to be put outside. Their dog ran rampant throughout my house. I was leary at the point but as the other posts show, my costs escalated through the roof. When they arrived with my furniture, virutally every piece of furniture was scratched or ruined. Boxes were crushed with holes in them. I had expensive items and was assured that World Movers moves people with antiques and are the #1 moving company. I had no idea they hired out their moving companies. My husband passed away sufferring a tragic death and we have 31 years of nice, antique glass objects, crystal, etc. Somehow his Corvette watch ended up in one of the boxes (which surprised me they even packed it) literally thrown in a box. It was destroyed. Many of my objects held sentimental value, Will I be fully compenstated even on the value? Doubt it. Sentimental value of property never. How do they replace a beautiful vase my husband presented me on our 10th anniversary. The two movers literally had "gold teeth", all of them were gold, their pants hung down to their underwear and they were careless and didn't care. Please honestly, don't hire this company. I still have many boxes to go through and more expensive things to unpack. So far, every box has had something broken in it. The one antique piece I brought had a piece broken off. When I asked the mover where it was he opened up a drawer and said, here it is you can glue it back on. Glue an antique. It is worthless now. There are many reputable companies I suppose but on a scale of 1 to 10 from the moment they brought the pit bull into my house, to today while starting the unpacking, I am sick. These two need to be fired, and this company needs all the bad press they can get and I personally will search every where I can find to give them this same feedback. Stay away from them. Trust me. I cannot be replaced for the sentimental value. I'm just in tears. Here is owner admitting his company was at fault, and yet, they want to pay me only $38.00. Beware, read the contract. If you don't pay their outrageous insurance fees, they will only charge you 60 cents per pound of what was destroyed or stolen. They stole a silver creamer, worth way more than $38.00 (which was for a whole list of items). Hide from them. OMG I could have hired anyone but I got the bottom of the barrel. Crooked con artists. This story is only 1/2 the truth. My driver had a puppy mutt but it was in the truck the whole time. I did correct him and told him no pets in the truck or around any customers. It's not professional and that's not how we want to be portrayed. We take liability for what we did wrong and it went through the proper channels. As far as the driver and his helper having gold teeth. I don't think that has anything to do with the fact of his ability to move furniture. He has been requested from past moves to move them again time and time again. This customer obviously didn't realize she was hiring a sales agent to move her. They get other good reputable companies to move them. As I've said you can't make everyone happy but we try. I'm deeply sorry that some of her items broken. I'm sure we have paid out on it. If we packed it I'm shocked it would break cause all my drivers know if they break something they will pay for it. Again I'm sorry and I'm sure everyone has had a bad day on a job so please do not hold that against them.
