Hello, I would like to complain about the bad service I experienced with company Air Purifier LLC . Originally, on 10/29/2010 I ordered Mini Air Purifier and Car Ionizer from the company's official website (www.ionicproturbo.com/order_form.html). The Price (USD) section indicated the price of the Mini Air Purifier and Car Ionizer $39.95 + FREE SHIPPING. Mini Air Purifier and Car Ionizer was Only My Selection. Company sent me a confirmation e-mail that did not list neither description of the order, nor the price charged nor the quantity ordered or even the confirmation number. The company shipped to me through USPS totally different item -Ionic Pro Turbo. The item I ordered Mini Air Purifier and Car Ionizer was missing in the package; however it was listed on the invoice along with unordered item. Besides, I was charged extra money for this unordered item and for shipping. On the same day I wrote two e-mails to the company asking to explain where my original order was and why I received the item that I haven't ordered instead. Company has not responded to my e-mails. Next day, I called the customer's service of Air Purifier LLC, they confessed that this was their mistake and promised to send me a return label within 24-48 hours and ship my original order. I have not received the promised labels within 24-48 hours. I had to call the company 7 business days (one call each day) afterwards in order to get the return labels. On 11/18/2010 I received the labels and shipped the wrong item back to the company on 11/19/2010. As of today, 12/08/2010 I have not received the refund for the wrong item they shipped to me; instead they keep charging my credit card for it. The item that I originally ordered Mini Air Purifier and Car Ionizer was later also shipped to me, but not as it said on the website with free shipping. Company charged me extra $9.95 for its shipping. The overall situation is following: after you make your order online, you will receive the confirmation e-mail without confirming what actually has been order by you. Instead, company may send you any item they choose and charge you for that. This way, company is pushing its products on the territory of the United States, without considering legal aspect of their actions. For example: the company sends you Ionic Pro Turbo priced $179.85 plus one-way* shipping charge $29.95. In order to send it back without return label you will have to pay another $29.95, which will total you $59.90 for all shipping charges, which is 33% of the product cost. Which means that some customers will most likely leave the product instead of sending it back and loose 33% to cover shipping. And it should be underlined that if you will wish to avoid the shipping charge of $29.95 to send the product back you will have to spend seven days calling customer's service. Hope my explanation will help the future customers not to have the same inconvenient situation while dealing with this company. I look forward to your reply and resolution of my complaint.
