Adam Frost Indiana Fraud Agency out of Jennings County, or debt collector Claimed to be filing felony charges against me for Payday Advance San Antoni

I received a call from a man by the name of Adam Frost who supposedly was with the Indiana Fraud Division out of Jennings County Indiana. He claimed that felony charges were being filed against me for a payday advance I had received 3 years ago. He claimed that his loan had been unpaid and that the company Advance America & the bank I had used were filing felony charges against me for fraud if I didnt come up with a certain amount of money with in two hours. The only way to dismiss these charges were for me to pay this so called "out of court restitution" and upon doing so all charges would be dismissed. He knew alot of personal information about me and was very professional on the phone. He was very convincing and used several legal terms while speaking with me on the phone. Fortunately I was suspicious enough about the phone calls I received that I immediately went to my local sheriff's department and to the company that was supposedly filing charges against me only to find out that it was nothing more than a scam. He has been contacted by both the company and the local sheriffs department and now knows that there are people out there who are aware of what he is doing to people. The sad thing is these sick individuals who scam people like this will just use a different name and phone number tomorrow to scam someone else out of their money. So please if you receive a phone call stating that criminal charges are pending against you if you dont send a certain amount of money to someone, check it out and be sure it is legitimate. Never send money by moneygram or give your credit / debit card number online to anyone if you arent 100% positive who is on the other end.
