A Message from God by Retha McPherson Race Identification: A Horrific and Hurtful Shame, Hartebeespoor, Nationwide

Retha Mcpherson, former Miss South Africa 2004 and one who happens also to be the founder of Retha McPherson Ministries that is located in South Africa asked for a review of her book named "A Message from God" and so here now is a review. What seems to be an absolute disgrace and a horrific and insulting shame in the book was the issue of race identification that kept cropping up in the book. For example: On page 13 of the book in the chapter entitled "Part 1 Our Story" Retha Mcpherson states this and I quote: "God gave us a prophetic promise through a black man" Then on page 21 in the chapter entitled "Living the Dream" Retha Mcpherson also states this in relation to an accident that she mentions in the book and again I quote: "a black man got out quickly. I was frightened wondering what he was up to" Note very clearly that in these two instances Retha Mcpherson identifies the race composition of the male individual that she lists in the book. However, those who are non-black individuals she does not identify them by their race composition. So for one group they get to be identified by their race and for other groups their race is not even identified. Why could she not simply state that these two individuals were simply just men and not identify them by their color makeup is the question that indeed should be answered? It is indeed funny and odd that in a "Message from God" that race should be seen. This to me makes this message somewhat partially and particularly hurtful instead of completely helpful and it for this reason that this evidence that is presented here that has been found in this book must indeed be recorded and indeed be reported about here.
