On October 7th I purchased a lift chair and a side table from my 86 year old mother from CHRIS JOHNSON of 1A Discount Medical Supply. I was required to pay in advance with my credit card. I paid $1,804.75. I called many times to find out when the items I had paid for would be delivered was told that they didnâ€™t have any idea and for me just to wait. They didn't seem to have any record of my purchase. Finally in early December I received an email from Urban Express, they had my chair. The table had arrived a few days earlier by Fedx. I paid $189 for white glove treatment but the delivery men simply dropped of the chair and plugged it in. They refused to set up the table. On Saturday, December 8th my husband put together and set up the table. The table cannot be set- up by itself as it has to have the weight of the chair on it to hold it up. My 86 year old mother is not able to lift or move the table. I wrote an email to Chris Johnson asking him about returning the table and getting a refunt but he did not respond to my email. I called the company today and was transferred from person to person, I was told by Bill Ryan to tell Chris Johnson that he needs to do his own work, then I was disconnected (!!). Chris Johnson said that he was not refunding the money on the table and that I was bothering him and getting on his nerves, and that he was through with the call. I paid $189 for white glove delivey which I didn't get, I want to return this table that costs $177.15 and get my money back. I want people to know not to buy anything from this company because they are incredibly rude, unhelpful and dishonest. They also go by US MEDICAL SUPPLY and 1A Discount Medical Supply. They are unbelievably rude and nasty.
