Zebra Techies Fraud SEO company, 'Zebra Techies' Utterly poor services, Not all worthy of employing, Beware of employing Calcutta, Internet |
17th of Oct, 2011 by User563861 |
hello everyone, if you are looking to employ someone for SEO work, please beware of the company named 'Zebra Techies'. They are not only frauds but are also big time liars. I have recently had the misfortune of employing them fro SEO of my company website and all they did for 6 six weeks was send some dodgy reports about what they had been doing. At the end of week 6, as I check my analytics report, it came to my notice that none of the traffic was due to the use of keywords assigned to them. In addition, they kept coming up with excuses like 'oh, the electricity went out', etc. Eventually, when I refused to pay for their lousy services, the tone of the email was so unprofessional to the point of being threatening. I wish I could write here what they had to say and all for a meagre sum. But I am not going to stoop to their level. All in all, beware of Zebra Techies! Regards The Fitness Doc |

Elance wrote us the email: PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL CAREFULLY:
Ticket #412428: Dispute Assistance with TheFitnessDoc
Michelle, Sep-26 09:37 am (PDT):
"Dear ZebraTechies,
We received your dispute notice for your job with the client, TheFitnessDoc as well as their reply. They are not in agreement to making a payment on this job and escrow was never funded therefore there are no funds in Elance's control to release to you. Since no funds were placed into escrow, you were not obligated to begin working on this job if funds are not placed into escrow. Escrow is available to protect both parties in the event of a Dispute. Funds placed in escrow will let the Contractor know that the funds are available, and it is a safe place for the Client to hold the funds until the job is complete and the funds can be released.
We would suggest that in the future, before you begin working on a job, that you request that escrow be funded, and then you may complete the job for the Client. Without funds available in escrow, there are no funds available for Elance to release for this project.
If you wish to pursue this matter on your own via the courts, please let us know and we can provide you with this user's contact details.
Regards,
Elance Dispute Assistance"

Hey there,
this is in reply to what Zebra have posted.
Well, to be fair, Elance doesn't know what I wanted and they can never judge whether a person is satisfied or no.
Also, point to be noted: a professional company using words like 'fraud' and 'beggar' for a client who wasn't satisfied with their services works in my favour. It settles my argument that Zebra Techies are a bunch of unprofessional people who would go to any lengths to get their meagre $100. What they don't realise is that its not the money that matters but the principle of the thing.
And, I dare them to go to whatever court they want to.
If I am not satisfied with a service, I refuse to pay. Same goes when I go to the supermarket...
Regards
The Fitness Doc |
