Yeptext what a HOT mess!!! Internet |

Unfortunately, I would not refer yeptext to my friends, family, associates, anyone....Period. I have been using them so far for one month and have had so many issues. However, I will start with the good times we had togther. One thing that I like about yeptext is the price. It is very reasonable. Eztexting, another mobile marketing website, is substantially more. However, you get what you pay for, as you will read about soon. I also like the fact that I have my own barcode with yeptext. People can scan their phones on the barcode and be directed to my site and receive information. So, yeptext does have a few pros, but the cons outway the pros in a plethora of ways. A major con was the fact that my text messages had to be reviewed and approved manually by yeptext before the messages would be sent out. Due to the reviewal process my texts werent being sent on time. When I scheduled my first message to go out at a certain time, it did not because its review was still pending. A called yeptext a few hours later and a representative stated that the review process could take up to 48 hours. In my business, 48 hours is too long. I need things to be sent immediately or at its scheduled time for a reason. This same situation happened twice, I scheduled a message to go out at a certain time but it failed to. I had to call the company and ask them to send out the message. One other time I needed something to be sent right away and again it was not. My most recent time I scheduled a message to be sent it was not, as usual. I called yeptext. No one answered, so I left a message. I called again the same day a few hours later. No one answered. I left a second message. I called once more at the end of the day before they closed and someone answered. I felt disrespected and unvalued as a customer at the fact that no one from the company returned my previous two calls. I informed the yeptext representative on the phone that if this keeps happening that I might have to switch to eztexting. He stated, "Well, then you just might want to do that." I was appalled. At this I said, "Thank you" and hung up. So, needless to say I will be switching to eztexting once all of my credits with yeptext run out. Yeptext turned into Nopetext for me. |
