Yellow National Directory Telling me I owe a bill for this year when thet were told last year not to renew Internet |
12th of Feb, 2013 by User959890 |
I was contacted Friday the 8 of Feb. for the first time telling me that I owe for advertising that I supposedly agreed to on a day that I was out of town. They played a recording that was exactly like one made about a year and a half ago. I payed them last year when I was contacted and played the recording and told her not to ever contact me again she assured me that it would be taken care of. She never told me or offered to send a form that I was told Friday that I had to have. I looked on their website to get their phone number the person calling would not give it to me and it is blocked. He is extremely irritating and will not let you talk, and thretened to turn it over to collections.Tried to call back and talk to a supervisor, but was put back with the same person. Even if you agree to this you do not get what they promise. |

Received a call from them in 2011 stating order for internet advertising. Played a recording made described as a contract. I paid the first bill with the understanding that once paid this "contract" would be completed. Two years later I receive a call stating that the contract was two parted and the second part of the contract was due. When contacted and requested to speak to someone else we were directed to the same person. Apparently only two people work at this company, a woman answering the phone and the rep "assigned" to all claims. Be careful they are quite convincing. He is quite rude and does not let you explain youself. Tries to intimidate you into giving in. A bully technique. |

What has anyone done about this, I was considering hiring a Lawyer |

I was contacted by this company who claimed I owed for services but they had no contract to prove, only an "invoice" for unnamed services. They continue to send Collection Notices, even though I have contacted them by registered mail, asking them to contact my attorney directly. There is no way to contact them directly. My only recourse has been to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. |
