www.tradekey.com Website which hosts internet fraud with Chinese manufacturers. Guanxi, Internet
9th of Dec, 2011 by User639383
www.Tradekey.com is an international website which hosts scams and fraud by Chinese Companies which CLAIM to be manufacturers and shippers. They sell Goldkey Member status to their customers so it appears the company has been online for 2,3, or 5 years with that website, making the company seem legit. I contacted a company on Tradekey which supposedly sells 7" android notepads. The company name is FUjia International Trading Company (aka FUjia National Trade Co.). ALL the companies have the same story..send money western union because W.U. does not pay to a Company Name. These companies will not use PAYPAL or ESCROW, though they say they do. Upon contact, they will tell you that paypal and ESCROW have had too many problems lately. That should have been my 1st clue top NOT deal with them. They wanted $450 for a small order of notepads, but I felt uneasy about sending them the full amount so after a few emails we agreed that I would send half up front, the other half as soon as I received my order. The response was "for long time business we will do this the first order. Send Western Union to Chuanyan Zhan, in Wuzhou, Guangxi, China Post Code 543000. I sent $225 and he emailed me the following day that the order was sent. I emailed for a tracking # (he said it would ship UPS or FEDEX). He emailed me the following day with "order is being held by customs. Need to pay additional $300 to get it out". Again, he refused to send me a tracking # as I wanted to contact the shipping company to verify where it was. He responded.."If you don't trust us you can come to China to get it out of customs yourself". I found out that if the order had been shipped and detained in customs, the duty on the products ordered would have only been about$48-$50. (not $300, as the total purchase was only $450). I immediately contacted Tradekey. They responded that the seller would no longer be allowed to list on tradekey.com . That's it. No help to contact FUjia Trading Co. Guaranteed, FUjia will be open on tradekey again in 1-2 days under a different name as a 2 year GOLDKEY member. Remember, these memberships are bought which means tradekey is DIRECTLY INVOLVED in internet fraud as much as the companies it hosts. STAY AWAY FROM www.tradekey.com , www.alibaba.com and www.aliexpress.com FUjia had their website listed on all 3 of those sites as GOLD member, so the other sites are also involved in the fraud. THESE are sites to scam people from other countries into separating them from their money. Thankfully, some common sense kicked in and I only lost half of what I would have had I sent the full $450 for that order. DO NOT EVER USE WESTERN UNION TO PAY for anything you order online. You will probably NEVER SEE your ORDER or your $$MONEY$$ again.
