I say its kinda legal~
in one way, there is no "official law" against it
in the other, some publishers don't like it when people buy items with real money from different sites
but Diablo 3 is a total other situation~
since Blizzard invented the Real Money Auction House, they offered gamers the opportunity to buy ingame stuff with real money and make 15% of the purchase off it~
thats the reason why I would say its OK to buy gold with real money - even if its not from blizzard
sites like mmoga.com are offering it for a good deal though ^^
