A true sheep in wolf's clothing. We signed a contract with this contractor and he agreed to complete the 2 BDRM renovation within a time frame and did not complete the work. We were reasonable, accessible and understanding due to the issues the contractor had with the 100+ year old building where apartment is located. We gave the contractor two additional time limits to complete - which he did not. After various confrontations with the contractor he finally made our apartment "ready to live in". During the week of that we discovered various issues including: no grout used in our shower/bath, no grout used on our new bathroom tiles, no corking or silicone used to close major gaps in window sills - leaving a terrible draft throughout apartment and improperly installing our new vanity with sink and medicine cabinet - that is unusable. We now must hire another contractor to complete the aforementioned issues and many others. After seeing the list of glaring undone work we FIRED the contractor and refused to pay him his final payment in which he chose to threaten our family. The unfortunate thing most of all is this person "presented" themselves as a friend to our family for nearly eight years and basically swindle us with labor expenses, extravagant purchases of household items and numerous hotel and food bills we accumulated due to the fact we were displaced for nearly 30 days after having to leave our former apartment. This man is not a qualified contractor - he has a lot of grandiose ideas but can not complete. He is not trust worthy with your home, your family's welfare and especially your money.
