Contacted this company two weeks ahead of my move, to move my 2 bedroom town home from Cali to Arizona a 5hr drive. The Agent Mitch said that the move would be by weight and estimated at 63001bs. He reassured me that it would be more than enough to cover my weight and that I would even get a credit if I was under. The total cost would be 1687.00 and a deposit of 576.00 dollars that would go toward the moving cost. I was even encouraged to follow the truck out to the weight station to verify weight and the remaining cost. I asked if they were going to be additional charges, cause I did not want to be surprised. He reassured me that there would not be. I even asked if World Wide was going to do the move and he said that they would be the ones to move me. On the day of the move, a third party moving company showed up in a Budget Rental truck 24ft, I was then told that it would cost me 2100.00 and the deposit that I gave to World Wide Van lines would not go toward the move and they had nothing to do with what World Wide Van lines charged for listing the move. Needless to say I was stuck in a situation that I had to be moved and opted to go with this third party company just so I can get moved. I tried contacting Mitch who transferred me to another extension that did not pick up. Left voice mails to Mitch with no return phone call. I then was able to talk to another person but then was transferred to a blank voice mail. I was continually hunged up on. I could get know one to give me answer on why they took 576.00 dollars from me that would not apply to my move. Now I have lost money because these people lied, deceived verbally on what they were providing. They took the money that did not apply to my move.
