WOODOFREST NATIONAL BANK POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE SECUIRTY POLICIES HUMBLE, Texas |
25th of Jan, 2011 by |
I had money stolen from my account. My wife immediately cancelled our cards. We were told that the bank would not only allow the money to go through as to the policy they have but could take up to 4 days for the transaction to go through. Then we would be able to fill out forms to dispute it and up to 1o days to get our money back. I decided to call the Atascocita branch and spoke with Tonya there. I explained my situation and was then told that she would contact their debit department and see if there was anything she could do.
She called me back later in the day and said that they had released the funds and that the money was put back into our account. I asked her multiple times if everything was ok and safe and she replied yes. I made clear with her that I needed to go put money into my bank and was it ok to do so. She replied yes and that it would no longer be an issue. The neXt day the money that was stolen was taken out of my account again on top of the money I has just deposited. When I called the branch to find out what was going on I was laughed at by a manager named Tamara claiming that I was wrong and that they wouuldn't have done that, that I misunderstood.
When I told her I wouldnt be laughed at and asked to speak to her manager she hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to her manager when she again hung up on me. I drove to the branch that is in front of the wal-mart branch and spoke with their manager who verified that whatever it was Tonya did was not an acceptable issue and that should not have been done, that she probably just did that so she could get you out the way and that the thing she did only fixes it for the time being, that she should NOT have said it was ok to put more money in the bank and that she was wrong. Nothing has been done to fix the problem, Woodforest has a "sucks to be you" attiitude and shows no care in the fact that my money has been stolen.
