wmp Wholesale Merchant Processing Misrepresented themselves- Their sales rep took money after e signed on with them, he said it was for a set up fee.

A rep from WMP (Wholesale Merchant Processing, Beaverton Oregon) stopped by our Auto Repair Shop to get us to sign on with WMP. We declined the first 2 times until he made us a deal we felt we could not refuse. ( BUT should Have!) After Looking at all the paper work, IT looked legal, We signed and wrote him a check which he said was for the processing and setup fee. He told us that we would be receiving our products for set up within 10 business days but probably that same week. I waited the ten days and called them- Apparently they knew nothing about us.
I told them that we had signed a contract with one of their employees and that we had given him a set up fee. They told me to fax them all the paperwork and they would look it over. After giving them another couple of days with NO response from them, I called them and told them I just wanted a refund. I also asked them if ****** was still working for them. He was and they had NO intention of firing him.
AS of yet, after having been promised a refund 3 times and NOT getting it and also finding out the Rep is still ( scamming ) working there, We have still not gotten our refund.
He got all of our information, Banking Routing and account numbers etc... ( something that is standard when setting up with a credit card processing company)
Our next step will be talking with a lawyer.Hated to do go that route and was hoping it could be resolved with out having to. Just wanted people out there to :
