Wirefly - Simplexity Cellular Service Phone Rebate and Service Scam Reston Virginia |

3/6/09 - Avoid any purchases with this SCAM company. First they were Inphonic (read rip off report on them!), then declared bankruptcy last year because their business model is a scam and are back in business with a fresh new website but still scamming customers with Rebates that are never paid. Now their management team reads like a Who's Who from Inphonic. I thought CEO's like Andy Zeinfield and COO Kenneth Schwarz got the boot when they run a company into the ground and deceive customers???!!! Who is the Board of Directors of this company anyway? They are conveniently not listed. Consider this:
1. Wirefly does not reference their parent company except hidden at the bottom on a web page
2. Their parent company is Simplexity at www.simplexity.com and DOES NOT list a phone number anywhere on their website. Hmmmmm, scary.
3. Customer Service is a scam and can only be reached by email. Who was the bankruptcy judge anyway?? Nice judicial system. As always, you will be lured by nice rebates on free phones so you think they are going to PAY YOU to own their phone. Not so, unfortunately. They have so many scams going it is not funny. Simplexity is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme. That is because when you buy the phone your credit card will be charged for this that and the other, but they say the rebate will give you that back. But they will not give you the rebate back. I bought a phone last year from them and am tired of trying to get my rebate back. I won't bore you with the long, sad story. Read scams under Inphonic for all the gory detail. Same company, new name. Simplexity and Wirefly are just a giant Ponzi scheme bilking customers out of $40-100 each. Say goodbye to your money if you buy a phone from them when you could have gone to a reputable Verizon or Sprint store and got a real deal. Cactusfields
