Wine Insiders Bait and Switch -- offered Groupon and used my info to charge wine to my debit card, Internet |

I purchased a Groupon for Wine Insiders for $25 to get $75 in credit. I went to wineinsiders.com and picked out wine. I went to check out and before I could enter the Groupon in the gift certificate section it forced me to enter my personal information including my debit card. I did so and hit enter. A message came up on the screen that said the coupon was invalid. I tried again. The same thing happened. I contacted Groupon and they refunded my $25. This was 8 days ago. I never heard anything from Wine Insiders though they had my phone number, address and email address. This morning my card was charged over $100 by Wine Insiders. I called them to have the charge reversed and was informed that there was wine coming to my house today -- I have to miss work, sit here and wait so that I can refuse the delivery and only then will they return the money to my account. I have incurred bank fees, missed pay and am still waiting for this delivery. I never ordered anything. I backed out of the screen. I never received any confirmation of an order and although the website says an order takes 4 weeks or more, this has all taken place in 1 week. I stated to Groupon the day this happened that I felt like Wine Insiders was running some kind of scam by gathering my information in this manner and was afraid that this might happen. Nonetheless, I am aghast that it has. |

I got a phone call (at work) from an Indian man named Nash Brown from JWC law firm in California. He told me that I took out a payday loan from American Payday and it did not get repaid. They are charging me with 3 counts of check fraud and there is a court date on Monday. I didnt know about any of this If I didnt show up, they were taking me to jail. I immediatley told the caller that I never took out a payday loan from American Payday, and he read me my bank account number that the funds were distributed to and my SSN. I asked him when this was and he said 6-7 months ago. He could not give me an exact date so I started to question him. When I asked him if this was a scam he got very offended and said that if I didnt pay, I would go to jail, and face up to $15, 000 in court costs. While on the phone I was at my computer and started looking up the number he called from on this site. I told him that I would have to get back to him and told him I will contact my attorney. They called me 4 more times afterwards on my cell phone. I have contacted the California Privacy Bureau, The FTC and I will be calling my local attorney general's office today. Needless to say, that call left me in hysterics. Is there anything we can do to shut them down?

I shipped a pakage from Las Vegas to NJ. The package was a 90 pounds and can in a case with heavy duty wheels. The case is made super strong and is commonly used for shipping. When the package arraived, the wheels were missingm the case was crushed, and had a hole in the bottom. It was apparent that they threw the case from the back of the truck to the ground. The fall, caused the wheels to break off. Now I have a 90 pound package that no one move.
I contacted FEdex and filed a claim. They sent a fedex employee/investigator to pick up the packae so that they can do an internal investigation. I helped them load the package into their truck and they drive off.
Afew weeks later I called Fedex, they asked for pictures of the damage. However, I could not take pictures becase they had the pakage. Then they told me they lost the package.
Almosttwo months later, I get a phone call from a recovery center in Utah which says thefound a package wiht my nameon it but it is broken in several pieces. It was returned to me two after that held together with heavy metal strips. Mostof my items fell out through a large hole in the bottom og the case, and the entire package ir ruined. I am owed $1, 300 to relace the package and to cover the cost to ship it tome. Here is a copy of some of our emails.
Linda, enough with the delays. Where is my package. I cannot express enough how important it is. I cannot easily get areplacement. You said you needed the trade show booth package for a few days for an expection and you have had the package for a month.
Where is it and when will it be returned?

The FedEx problem just got worse.
I understand that when your company picked up my trade show booth for inspection, that you were to retun to me within 10 days. As you know, FedEx lost the package and it was sent to a "recovery station" in Utah. A month later, it is now back in my possession. However, it has been further damaged and is now missing a corner on the bottom and a peice on the top. Because your company first broke off the wheels to the package, it appears that your employees have been draged it accross many fllors. Their are now scratches on all sides, 2 wheels missing, the frame has now been broken, the case is smashed, there is a large hole on the bottom of the case so things I put in it will fall out, there is a new hole on the top so it can't be used as a podium anymore and I have not even looked inside. Fedex has successfully rendered my trade show booth useless. You need to escalate this to the next level. I need to speak with a manager now.
I have never been insulted by a company before.
Fedex claims that they are waiting for a document from another fedex branch to pay only $100 on the claim. This is BS.
They have continues to not respond to any emails. They refuse to speak to me, and refuse to turn the matter to a manager. Enough is enough. FedEx (Federal Express is a lousy compnay with lousy service.) DO NOT USE FED EX |

Guy's, We all know that Emilio Castillo is a bottom feeder and has been ripping people off for years and has done the same thing with U.S Couriers in the past 10 Months. No Fear here; I envite this scum to think he can treat you guys like this any longer. I worked for a Law Firm for 12 years before coming back to help out U.S Couriers over a Year ago and fought all the way til the bottom fell out in mid August 2011. Once I found out that all of you guys weren't getting paid and he was just lying to everyone; I realized that I needed to start contacting my old buddies to get them started working asap on this. I am now currently back at the same Firm and have 2 of my guys working on this now. I need you all to contact me over the phone asap to be part of this filing. Emilio thinks he can only be sued like he has many times in the past i am sure or that you guys are just all losers with no money or brains to do anything. Well he is highly mistaken on every account. Let me explain; Yes it could be a small claims but we now have over 25 employees and I.C's that are owed in some cases over 10k a piece and my numbers are growing daily. I have proof that he not only has money in certain accounts but he has all so received at least 2 checks in 3 weeks ( $130k for 1 ) that were for services we all provided that was payment for our services. I all so have him and his staff on recording telling the Team that they were sending checks out but there was no money in the accounts so wait until after 5pm to hand out. To go along with this; I have some dark horses in the race that have met with my guys and given written and audio statements that came straight from Higher management. Emilio is still hiring people through Craigslist as we speak for work he knows he is not going to pay for and once they quit he can simply keep the funds. The problem with this; he has no ideal that once again I am more educated then him and don't play games when it comes to the average working man being screwed over by some low life. I have a contact in the Dallas Office; just do a little talking and it will get back to me and I will gladly give you a call to add you to the Team. Take the time to post on here so we might be able to save at least one more person from this sum |

In 2010 my wife and I purchased a sleeper sofa 10928337, ($649.99, plus 59.99 for material
protection) loveseat 10228333, (479.99, plus 49.99 for material protection) and chair 10529127, (399.99, plus 39.99 for material protection) on September 5, 2010. Our total amount of 1679.94. Nevertheless, approximately 3-6 months after having the furniture, we noticed the quality of the sleeper sofa, and loveseat and chair were not as expected. we noticed the cushions in loveseat and sofabed began to compress and sage instead of holding its shape, resulting in sitting low into the loveseat and the sofa and the chair had this horrible squeaking notice ( a tech came to look at it, he got it to stop, but it has started again). In addition, the padding on the arms of both pieces where not sufficient, we could feel the frame of the furniture. Also, my wife noticed the bottom of the sofabed sags low to the floor if anyone sits on it and the mattress on the sofa bed is so thin, that it feels like you are sleeping on the frame itself, we have to use a air mattress to compensate for the discomfort. We do not have children and know how to respect our furniture. We contacted the company and a technician came out to examine our complaint, he removed the cushions, and pressed on the arms of the chairs and used his hands to "test" the springs and he said that nothing would be done because there was no damage. Our complaint is not that it damaged, but the quality of the furniture is inferior to what was advertised and expected. Furthermore, they have the nerve to rip consumers off even further by charging $100.00 for delivery. Rooms 2 Go will show quality furniture in the showroom, but deliver substandard furniture to their consumers. We are asking to be refunded our money for the entire purchase including the material protection for each item listed above. I would tell every and anyone that I know, do not purchase your furniture from RTG, you will be greatly disappointed. |
