Wild Blue Beyond Bad Service Denver, Colorado
1st of Dec, 2011 by User730047
If you are considering switching for a DSL or Cable internet provider, Don't. I got stuck with this service when Comcast pulled there service from the area I live in. I looked into options for internet. I called Dish Network and talked with them and they suggested Wild Blue. What a big mistake. For 49.99 a month you are told you will have down load rate of .5 megabits per second. Only to find out you are lucky if you can get 33KBPS to 88KBPS. You call and they suggest increasing you internet speed and paying more. I went a long with it and increase my bandwidth and swallowed the increase price of 69.99. My service speeds didn't increase and I complained to Wild Blue. I had to pay to have a Tech come out and check my dish. They said it was struck by lighting and replaced the receiver. I figured problem solve. I was wrong. After 4 months I finally took the hit in my wallet and payed to have them stop my service. I had to go onto my roof to remove there equipment. There attitude sucks. They blame everything on atmospheric or some other problem. Don't get taken by there scam
