I would like the initial registration fee of $199.00 refunded. I did not receive any info from this company that was helpful. No contract signed. In March of this year, I saw an add placed by WPI regarding a buy/lease program. I became interested because I would like to purchase a home sometime soon. I was advised by Mr. Carl Ferrell by phone that I would have to pay $199 registration fee to get started. I was not advised that this charge was non-refundable. I paid the registration fee via pay pal and expected to receive info to get me started so that I could look into properties in my area because my lease would expire soon at my current address. After a couple of weeks, I called Carl because I inquired about seeing properties in person so I could get the process started. He advised there were none in my price range and actually the prices they advertised were false because initially you are led to believe that you can find homes between $900-$1200. Carl also advised that my down payment for a home could run from $3,000-$7,000, which was not explained before I signed up. I also advised that I would have to sign up with Prime Credit who works with WPI to assist people with credit issues. I paid them $199.00 as well. After thinking about this program as a whole and appearing that I was getting the "run around", I requested that my money be refunded from both agencies and I did not wish to do business with either. On April 4, 2011, My payment of $199 made to Prime Credit was refunded. I have written emails to Carl and received no response. I called him and he is not being cooperative. I will never do business with this company again and I will warn anyone to never do business with them as well. This is outrageous. I just want my $199 back. carl has not provided any service for me or his company and they are stealing my money. I would like a refund asap. I have tried to go directly to them to get this taken care of but to no avail. I have not signed a contract and this to me is fraud. Please help. I did not sign any legal documents and my money is being without my consent. I deserve a refund. I have not gained any service from Mr. Ferrell's company and do not ever wish to do business with him again. On the website, , there is no indication of the registration fee being non-refundable if you decide not to do business with this company. I have screen shots for my records. I also requested my refund within 7 business days which is more than reasonable for any business (even though they do not have this clause listed anywhere). I did not sign any legal documents and I want my money refunded. |
