White House Motors Hook, Line, and Sinker. The typical joke of a dealership. These people are twisted! Portland, Oregon |

I can't believe this mess. Before I purchased this vehicle I wanted to make sure the timing chains and tensioners were upgraded. This make and model had problems with the plastic tensioners and chain causing engine failure. The sales man was adamant that the car had been updated and he had the paperwork in the office for all current services. After purchasing the vehicle the sales man quickly left the seen. 5 months later the car started making a weird noise. The dealership told me it was the timing chain tensioners and they were never upgraded and needed to be. I paid $2975.00 to have it all done the car ran great for 5 more months and now in it's current state has a broken cam shaft and bent valves with an unknown cause. I had trouble making payments on time with the car because I lost my job and had to pay for the service of the timing chains with the money I was gonna pay the car off with. I received a statement from white house motors in august 2010 showing a balance of $1816. Every time I spoke with Harry on the phone he was rude and didn't care at all about my issues with the car. He would not call me back often when he said he was going to. I had to keep calling. I sent a payment on 10/72010 for $480.00, 10/27/2010 of $485.00 and one on 11/19/2010 for $485.00 in December I received a class from Harry saying I owed 1more payment on the car I told him I was going to send it out ASAP he yelled at me and told me he was done with my file and gonna give it to there investigator and finance manager. On 12/30/2010 I mailed the final payment of $480.00 and never heard from Harry again. The car has been broke down since. Recently I've decided I have to much money invested in this car I need to cut my losses and sell it. I realized I've never received the title. I call the DMV they said white house motors has it. I was confused since I paid it off. So I called and left a message last week for Doug. No response so I called Harry. He said oh yea I remember you. You never made your last payment. I told him I did he laughed and told me to call this other number to the guy he gave the title to. I then called this other guy who was extremely rude and the first thing he said was I still owe my last payment. I tried to explain what the situation was. He kept cutting me off and was rude. I asked him if this is how they treated all there customers. He said he was gonna talk to harry and call me back. He never did so I waited a day and called him back. He said Harry told him I didn't make my last payment. I told him that was incorrect information. He was frustrated with me and said he would have to sit down with harry and call me back. Why to argue and talk down to me more? Needless to say they have not called me back and I'm quite frustrated. This whole experience has been a nightmare. |
