Today, Nov 3, 2010 at 845PM I was on gay.com chatting with my friends when I was approached by a man named Robert. We seemed to hit it off in the chat room so I gave him my toll free cell phone number (I use this for people I just meet so they do not get my real number). The conversation was not going well as he was inconsistent with his profile and his real self. I told him I was not comfortable with the conversation and ended the call.

He started to call me from # 617-532-4600 (The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel) Once at 8:57PM, hung up, immediately again at 8:57 and hung up, then at 9:07PM he asked me "Wouldn't you like to come to meet me and get tied up ?" I hung up and called the hotel spoke to Jackie at the front desk who connected me to "Q" at security and I told him that the calls were coming from the hotel main number. He seemed interested at first then I told him it was from gay.com and he said "I highly doubt that would happen........men can take care of themselves, but would look in to it......I promise to call you back Mr. Taylor" He did not.

"Robert" whom I was chatting with in the room was still saying things to me and trying to get me to be "submissive" on the net and things he would do to me if I had met him at the hotel. I was freaked, scared so I called back to the hotel and the other security man refused to give his name and told me "to forget it".

Nothing I suggested to them to help stop this man would be listened to. I was afraid that this "Robert" would lure people to his hotel and do things and the security man said "we can not think about what if" and ended the call.

I am so tired of people thinking that if 2 men meet on line that they are protected because they are men. People do kill people regardless. This hotel has no interest in helping or securing the interest of the public or the gay community.

Shame, shame, shame, they should be exposed. Oh here is "Robert's" picture he had on the site.
