I looked at an ordered my Manufactured Home from Eugene Super Sales Center contingent of the sale of my home in California. Unfortunately, I was struck with my second battle of cancer and asked if we could break the contract because my health was so poor and the fact that the housing market fell and I could not sale my home. (I put 65000.00) as a down payment. I was informed that the company would keep my 65000.00 if I didn't finish the purchase of my home. I was called by their salesperson on a weekly basis asking about the sale of my home in Calif. and asking when we could close on the home in Eugene, I explained as well as my daughter that I was ungoing Chemo treatments and would not be able to move or close on the home until I was released by my doctors and I sold my home in Calif. I was then informed that they posted a For Sale sign on the home in question. When I called to find out what was going on, I was informed that if they could sale the home to someone else they would and that I would not received my deposit of 65000.00 back. I was blackmailed into closing on the home. The home has many things wrong with it including a huge dent in my walk in shower, flooding in my yard, burns in my vinyl, huge cracks in the walls, my upgrades were not given to me. I have been calling for the repairs and have now been informed after 3 years of calling that they will not repair anything! My home was filthy when I took position (toilets were used by the workers and not flushed, dust everywhere, burns in vinyl scratches, cracks and holes in drywall. I would not recommend buying a home in the West Eugene Village or from Fuqua Homes to anyone. After meeting several of my neighbors I have found out that I am not the only victim. Everyone that I have spoken to in the development has experienced the same treatment. The sales people are very friendly and make many promises only to scam the home buyer by not giving them the upgrades and warranty as promised. They lie, blackmail and bully the elderly and disabled!
